We're approaching the village of Khumjung. The Hillary High School can be seen in the foreground of the village (the large grey area is the playing field). As I descended down the steep path and stairs to Khumjung, I mentally made note of the fact that I'd have to climb back up. In the Khumbu, down was invariably followed by up (and vice versa).
