We stopped for lunch at Upper Pangboche (13,123') where I took this shot of a little girl and her grandfather. The mountain children are a delight and clearly well-loved by their parents. The ones who are old enough to attend school, which is compulsory, wear school uniforms. It was fun to watch groups of them running and playing on their way to school. They didn't have to stop and catch their breaths!
