  • Expels Wind and Wetness, especially of the extremities.
  • Clears Deficiency Heat; for Deficiency of Yin with fever.
  • Clears jaundice due to acute Wet Heat.
  • Moistens Intestines and moves stool; for Dryness-type constipation.
  • Cautions
  • Contraindicated in frequent urination, and in chronic pain with emaciation. Contraindicated in Spleen Deficiency diarrhea.

  • Relatively safe for long term use (very large dosages may result in nausea and vomiting)
